Tour & Trek Date Change Policy
At The Travel Foot, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our date change policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring smooth trip operations. Please read the following terms carefully:
1. Requesting a Date Change
- Travelers can request a date change by submitting a written request via email to our official contact at least 15 days before the scheduled departure date.
- Date change requests made less than 15 days before departure may not be accommodated and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
- Changes are subject to availability on the preferred new dates.
2. Rescheduling Fees
- More than 30 days before departure: Free date change (subject to availability).
- 15 to 30 days before departure: A nominal rescheduling fee of ₹2,000 per person or as per the specific tour requirements.
- Less than 15 days before departure: Date changes may not be allowed, and cancellation charges will apply.
3. Limitations on Date Changes
- Each traveler is allowed one free reschedule per booking (if eligible as per the policy). Subsequent changes will incur an additional fee.
- Some tours, especially those involving fixed departures, limited permits, or unique event-based treks, may not allow date changes.
- Any price difference between the original and rescheduled date due to seasonal variations or updated costs must be paid by the traveler.
4. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
- In case of natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or any other force majeure events, The Travel Foot will offer rescheduling options without penalties, subject to operational feasibility.
- Personal emergencies (medical, bereavement, etc.) may be considered case-by-case with appropriate documentation.
5. How to Request a Date Change
To request a date change, please email us at [connect@thetravelfoot.com] with your booking details, preferred new dates, and the reason for the change. Our team will review your request and respond within three business days. Please note that the new dates are subject to availability and the approval of our team.
