Planning an outdoor trip is always filled with excitement and anticipation. However, cancellations can be disappointing. We at The Travel Foot handle all ground operations meticulously, making your travel cancellations from our end extremely rare. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and feasible, ensuring that you are not left in a difficult situation. That said, unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, government regulations, or other factors beyond the control of THE TRAVEL FOOT may lead to cancellations. If a trek is cancelled by the participant or due to uncontrollable external factors, the following cancellation policy will apply.

General Guidelines for Cancellations:
  • To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend booking your trip at least two months in advance. We are committed to providing you with a seamless booking process and a memorable travel experience. Any cancellation request must be sent to us in writing via email.
  • Cancellation charges are based on the date we receive the cancellation request in writing.
  • Refunds will be issued as a THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER, which remains valid for12- 28 MONTHS from the issue date, depending on the number of days before you have cancelled the trip.
  • The cancellation policy is structured to cover operational expenses, including permits, accommodations, Transport arrangements, equipment, and logistical costs.
Cancellation & Refund (Voucher) Policy

a. Cancellation within or before 30 days prior to the trip start date
– 15% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST & transaction charges).
– 85% refunded as a THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 18 Months Validity.

b. Cancellation within 20-29 days prior the trip start date
– 25% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST, transaction fees, and other cancellations).
-75% refunded as THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 15 Months Validity.

c. Cancellation within 15–19 days prior the trip start date
– 35% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST, transaction fees, and other cancellations.)
– 65% refunded as THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 15 Months Validity.

d. Cancellation within 10–14 days prior the trip start date
-50% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST, transaction fees, and other cancellations.)
– 50% refunded as THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 12 Months Validity.

e. Cancellation within 7–9 days prior the trip start date
– 65% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST, transaction fees, and other cancellations.)
– 35% refunded as THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 12 Months Validity.

f. Cancellation 0–6 days before the trip start date
–  70% deduction of the invoice amount (covers GST, transaction fees, and other cancellations)
–  30% refunded as THE TRAVEL FOOT WALLET VOUCHER with 06 Months Validity.
